Wow, Mallard Cottage was such a cozy place to stay! I loved the homely feel of the living room and dining area. It felt like a perfect spot to relax with my family after a long day out exploring. The kitchen in the apartment was fantastic! It had everything we needed, from a fridge to an oven and even a dishwasher. Cooking meals together was a breeze. The three bedrooms in the apartment were just what we needed for our family. It gave everyone their own space and ensured a good night's sleep. Having two bathrooms was a real convenience, especially when we were rushing to get ready in the morning. The shower and bath combo was a nice touch too.
Personally, I found the DVD player to be a bit outdated. But hey, some people might still enjoy using it!

Amazing value for money, the room was cozy and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, close to family and easy to explore nearby attractions. The staff at Mallard Cottage were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
Food for breakfast could have been improved with a wider selection of pastries or fresh fruit.

Fantastic Garden: The highlight of our stay was definitely the garden at Mallard Cottage. It was like stepping into a magical oasis, with vibrant flowers and lush greenery. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace, sipping our morning coffee, and listening to the birds chirping. It felt like being in our own little botanical paradise.
Slippery bathroom floor.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The welcome goodies provided by the hosts were a lovely touch. The location was ideal, with easy access to both well-known tourist attractions and off-the-beaten-track gems. We also enjoyed the almost finished swimming pool as an added bonus.
The kitchen could have been better equipped, lacking essentials like a corkscrew and cooking knives. It was also a bit slippery in the bathroom, despite warning signs, which posed a potential hazard.
